Howdy, I'm Taylor. I'm 23 years old, living in Houston Texas, and I'm loving my life more than I could have ever imagined. However, it wasn't always that way.
If you're feeling a bit lost about your purpose in life and disgruntled with your current position in it, I'm hoping that sharing my experience can provide some perspective and connection.

I write a lot, and I'm simply hoping to use this platform as an outlet. Something you might find particularly interesting are my series documenting my life transition to minimalist living and my journey through the Landmark Life Development Program.
I've kept a journal since I was about 12 years old. Note books and random pieces of paper have trailed alongside me throughout the past 11 years. No, seriously. I have a whole storage trunk essentially dedicated to my years worth of written treasures. (The Minimalists would tsk tsk me on this, but the backlog of life events still hold real value for me). The writing mostly started as a way to reflect on my personal experiences, and ending up growing into a real skill set. Writing got me through years of emotional hell in adolescence, high school, college, and adulthood. It got me college acceptances, great feedback on literary papers, and won me a couple oh so aggrandizing Facebook fights. But, I never put it to any real use. I had desires to submit essays to publishers, speak a poem I wrote, or just set a goal to share my story. For years, I made excuse after excuse about why I could never put my writing in such a vulnerable position.
Send my writing to front, center stage? Right in front of the spotlight?
"They're all going to laugh at you", I thought.
